Developing Apprenticeships in Scotland that meet industry needs
An Apprenticeship is an alternative to full-time education; supporting an individual to develop the skills and knowledge required, whilst they gain experience in the workplace.

Apprenticeships currently exist at SVQ Level 3 in Scotland, and the intention is to replace the current Skillseekers programme with Apprenticeships at SVQ Level 2.

The aim of this questionnaire is to identify what should be included in Hospitality and Travel Apprenticeships at Level 2 and to identify areas for improvement in the current Level 3 Apprenticeships in Hospitality and Travel to ensure they meet industry needs. The survey also includes questions on the funding of Apprenticeships.

It will take approximately 5 minutes to complete the survey

Thank you for your time

A stand alone Hospitality Apprenticeship (at SVQ Level 2)
The Skillseekers programme is to be wound down by the Scottish Government and replaced by an Apprenticeship programme at SVQ level 2.  The Apprenticeship will offer a workplace programme for those who are trained and assessed as competent in specific roles at an operative level.  The Apprenticeship will also ensure that core skills, such as reading and numeracy, have been achieved.
Do you think there should be a stand alone Hospitality Apprenticeship at SVQ Level 2?

How could the Apprenticeship be further improved?
